How do I scan a barcode?


Open the app, tap the scan icon, and point your camera at the barcode. Ensure good lighting and hold your phone steady until the scan completes.

The barcode won't scan. What should I do?

  • Clean your camera lens
  • Ensure adequate lighting
  • Hold the phone 10-15cm from the barcode
  • Try the text description or photo upload options instead

Can I analyse home-cooked meals?


Yes! Use the photo feature or describe your meal using text. NutriScanner will analyse the ingredients and provide gut health and nutrition scores.

How do I upload a photo from my library?


Tap the upload icon and select an image from your photo library. NutriScanner works with both fresh photos and saved images.

What does the Red/Amber/Green scoring mean?

Green (7-10): Excellent choice for gut health and nutrition

Amber (4-6): Moderate option, consider frequency and portion size

Red (0-3): Limited benefits, best consumed occasionally

Is my data private?


Yes. NutriScanner does not store your food scans or personal data on our servers. All analysis happens securely.

The app isn't working properly. What should I do?


Try these steps:

  • Force close the app and reopen it
  • Check you're running the latest version (update via App Store)
  • Restart your phone

Report a Bug

Found a technical issue? Please use the form and provide: A description of the problem, What you were trying to do, Your device model and operating system version.

We review all bug reports and work to resolve issues quickly.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are managed through the app store on your device. On iPhone, this is handled through Apple's App Store. On Android, this is handled through Google Play. All payment processing and subscription management is handled by the relevant platform. We do not collect or store payment information.

To manage or cancel your subscription: On iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions On Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

Request Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. To do so, please use the contact form on this page or email longeviagroupltd@gmail.com. We will process your request and delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (such as purchase records retained for HMRC compliance).
